        INTRODUCTION

Restorative Yoga is a practice for everyone, young and old, active and inactive, stressed or depressed, over-tired or over-stimulated.

Restorative Yoga is conscious relaxation.  We consciously observe our habits of tension and where they create imbalance.  Then, we practice letting these tensions go.

When you lie passively in poses, supported with props, you align your body and quiet your mind.  By turning your attention inward, you release deep tension and relax more completely.

The poses we are about to do are designed to release tension and restore energy, physically and mentally.
